Racism is the biggest curse of humankind. It is a disease which corrupts the best of the cultures, and converts them into a decaying morass of hate and spite. It is also the most illogical of arguments that was ever conceived. When suffering from an underlying current of racism, any argument degenerates into a self-contradictory hodge podge.
In fact, the very idea of race is an illusion. Though scientifically proven to be incorrect, most people accept this notion at its face value. This is similar to the attitude of the medieval philosophers who continued to dabble in the idea that earth is flat, even though scientific experiment has thoroughly disproved that idea. It has taken several centuries for the collective mindset of the society to accept the idea that the earth is indeed spherical.
Our society needs to similarly adjust its mindset regarding the notion of race. This is highly essential for our times, for the sake of further progress of society.
Take pride in culture. Only the most insecure of the people pride themselves in race.
